The fear and malcontent created by the mainstream rise of neo-conservatism seemed to numb the collective senses of contemporary democracy. Structure and order (those historical oppressors) were enacted as a global presidential signing statement, proclaiming uncontested protection against an often vague but unquestionable evil. This piece reflects the true nature of that statement.
